Academy Aircraft
The Tutima Academy operates a small fleet of specialized aircraft. Our machines are high performance, strong, and responsive making them capable of basic through the most advanced aerobatics possible. Each of our aircraft are expertly maintained in house to the strictest standards possible.

Without a doubt, the EA-300L is the premiere aerobatic, sport and professional aircraft on the market today. Extra’s 300L is the only certified unlimited-category aerobatic aircraft approved to plus/minus 10G’s. The aerodynamically agile design provides for 420 degree per second roll rates and higher cruising speeds without sacrificing docile handling and responsiveness.

400 Coming Soon!
The Cessna 400 is the only aircraft to meet stringent FAA Utility Category certification requirements since 1968. Each Cessna 400 has dual wing spars, dual horizontal stabilizer spars, a healthy dose of carbon fiber throughout and the highest wing loading in its class. This strength allows the Tutima Academy to utilize the Cessna 400 as the most modern, realistic upset training aircraft in existence.

The Pitts S-2C is the successor to the S-2B. Improved wing design, flattening the belly, improving the cowling shape and redesigning the windshield ads 15 mph to cruise speed. Until you've flown the new Pitts S-2C, there's no way to fully comprehend the way it harnesses the power, expanded the performance envelope, locked in a new level of precision and taken the lead in aerobatic flying technology.

The two place Pitts Special S-2B is the ideal training platform capable of advanced aerobatic training. Powered by a 260HP Lycoming AEIO540 and the new Hartzell counter weighted composite propeller, certified to +6 and -3 G's, it's sure to bring a smile to your face! The S-2B is obviously capable of highly advanced maneuvers, yet is easy enough to fly for pilots just beginning their aerobatic training.
